We recognized the need for Vitamin D production, as research indicated that a large proportion of the planet's population had deficiencies in Vitamin D. Realizing that Vitamin D plays an increasingly understood role in strengthening our immune system, we acquired the Vitamin D and cholesterol business of Solvay in 2007. Since then, Dishman Carbogen Amcis Ltd has developed new technology in development and manufacturing capabilities to address this global need.

With rising demand for the application of this raw material in various sectors, and in the pursuit of developing a worldwide supply chain in the supply of Vitamins and its analogs, we have established a WHO cGMP compliant fully integrated manufacturing unit at our Bavla Campus in India for the development of a wide spectrum of products for the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and holistic animal nutrition verticals of Vitamin D3.

As a natural expansion of our development and manufacture of Vitamin D3 and analogs, we have expanded along the value chain towards the manufacture of our own list of Vitamin D3 Soft Gels Capsules and Analogues: 

• Vitamin D3 capsules – 1000, 2000, 5000, 10,000, 50,000 and 60,000 IU strengths
• Calcitriol capsules – 0.25 mcg, and 0.50 mc
• Alfacalcidol capsules- 0.25 mcg, and 0.50 mcg, 1mcg
• Calcifediol capsules – 30mg, and 60mg
• Vitamin E capsules - 200mg, and 400mg

Products can be made available with private labels with full regulatory support and dossiers available for selected products.
